Mande MW20 Outdoor ThermoWood Sauna – Premium Backyard Relaxation by Patio Elegance

The Mande MW20 is a 5–6 person outdoor sauna cabin built from ThermoWood® — a thermally modified timber that resists moisture, resists warping, and performs in seasonal outdoor conditions with minimal maintenance. It is designed for permanent outdoor installation in a backyard, deck, or garden setting, and comes ready for a Harvia Kip 6.0kW electric heater.

ThermoWood® is produced by heat-treating Nordic timber at high temperatures, which removes moisture and modifies the wood’s cell structure. The result is a stable, naturally weather-resistant material that does not require paint or stain to maintain its structural integrity outdoors.

Common Questions

What is ThermoWood®?
ThermoWood® is Nordic timber that has been heat-treated at high temperatures to permanently modify its cell structure. This makes it more resistant to moisture, insects, and dimensional changes than untreated wood, without chemical preservatives. It is widely used in outdoor sauna construction in Northern Europe.

Does this sauna require a special electrical connection?
Yes. The Harvia Kip 6.0kW electric heater runs on 240V and requires a dedicated circuit installed by a licensed electrician. Do not attempt to connect to a standard household outlet.

Is the heater included?
Please confirm heater inclusion with your specific order configuration. Product images show the Harvia Kip 6.0kW.

Can this sauna be installed outdoors year-round?
Yes. ThermoWood® is engineered for outdoor use and performs in a range of climates and seasonal conditions with minimal maintenance.
